Welcome from the host organizations of

the 2022 Canadian liver meeting

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver (CASL), the Canadian Network on Hepatitis C (CanHepC), and the Canadian Association of Hepatology Nurses (CAHN), we are pleased to invite you to the 5th Annual Canadian Liver Meeting, to be delivered both online and in-person on May 13 - 15, 2022 in Ottawa at the Westin Ottawa.

The 2022 hybrid meeting will enable you to take part in all aspects of the educational and networking program no matter your schedule. As always, we will feature the National Symposium on HCV (CanHepC) and the Nursing program (CAHN), along with our General Hepatology Program (CASL). We will also have a new addition this year with the NASH symposium (CanNASH) to build on our successful NASH Single Topic Conference from last year. The 2022 Canadian Liver Meeting offers an opportunity to learn, to present, and to hear first-hand accounts of patient experiences. There will be more opportunities than ever for students and trainees to showcase their research and engage with their colleagues, friends, and mentors.

In addition to the scientific program, the 2022 hybrid meeting highlights include:

  • Your registration – whether in-person or virtual - will give you access to all recorded sessions to be accessible on-demand for months following the meeting to rewatch your favourite speakers and catch some sessions that you may have missed
  • Multiple innovations to interact with speakers with live Q&A post-presentations, as well as with colleagues through one-on-one chats, scheduled networking sessions and group discussions
  • The most innovative and interactive poster program yet, featuring talks, tours, and both live and 24/7 discussion forums

We invite our industry partners, related associations, institutions, and other organizations to join us in Ottawa or in the comfort of your home or office to attend the 2022 Canadian Liver Meeting.

Whether we meet face-to-face or virtually, we look forward to welcoming you to another fantastic Canadian Liver Meeting.

Sincerely,
