2020 Program

The 2020 Canadian Liver Meeting delivered an outstanding scientific program, meaningful networking opportunities, and a unique cultural experience in Montréal amongst over 500 delegates from across Canada dedicated to basic and clinical science and public health in liver disease. CLM offered participants a forum for presentation and discussions of basic science, translational and clinical aspects of liver disease. The program's overall objectives were:

1. To provide an update on diagnosis, management, and new developments in common causes of chronic liver disease (i.e., NAFLD, Alcohol, HBV)
2. To review management of decompensated cirrhosis / complications of cirrhosis including HCC
3. To highlight translational research in liver disease and foster Canadian clinical and research collaborations in hepatology

2019 Program

The 2019 Canadian Liver Meeting offered participants with a forum for presentation and discussions of basic science, translational and clinical aspects of liver disease. This was the 2nd year that delegates received the opportunity to exchange ideas, promote collaboration, and foster knowledge translation among Canadian researchers, healthcare practitioners, and community-based groups with an interest in Hepatology. The program featured Canadian and international speakers, the latest research presentations, state of the art symposia, and a wealth of networking opportunities with peers, trainees, allied health practitioners, and industry.
