Includes the Inaugural North American Viral Hepatitis Elimination Summit

Welcome from the host organizations of

the 2021 Canadian liver meeting

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver (CASL), the Canadian Network on Hepatitis C (CanHepC), and the Canadian Association of Hepatology Nurses (CAHN), we are pleased to invite you to the 4th Annual Canadian Liver Meeting, to be delivered virtually on May 2 - 5, 2021.

The 2021 virtual meeting is thrilled to celebrate a new collaboration showcasing the inaugural North American Viral Hepatitis Elimination Summit, a 2-Day Symposium organized by The American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), CAHN, CanHepC & CASL, within the Canadian Liver Meeting.

From the North American Hepatitis Elimination Summit to the General Hepatology and Nursing program, the 2021 meeting offers an opportunity to learn, to present, and to hear first-hand accounts of patient experiences. There will be plenty of opportunities for students and trainees to showcase their research and engage with their colleagues, friends, and mentors.

In addition to the scientific program, new 2021 virtual meeting highlights include:

  • Your registration will give you access to all recorded sessions to be accessible on-demand for months following the meeting
  • A meeting more “connected” than ever as we plan for more than 500+ participants
  • Multiple opportunities to interact with speakers with live Q&A post-presentations, as well as with colleagues through one-on-one chats and group discussions
  • The most innovative and interactive poster program yet, featuring talks, tours, and discussion forums

We are happy to confirm that the virtual meeting will be accredited as an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and accredited by the Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver. Please sign up for our newsletter to receive the most up-to-date information on the number of study credits and updates to the scientific program.

We invite our industry partners, related associations, institutions, and other organizations to join us at the 2021 Canadian Liver Meeting, logged in virtually from across Canada and internationally.

Until we meet again, let’s meet online!
